What do you do to keep your game interesting?

I recommend you try all kinds of house set ups and see which works best. Personally I am a single sim player and I get really bored playing with families. When you have a set up you like have a big goal and try and works towards it as this gives your sims something to work towards. Right now my sim is slowly setting up her own art gallery. She has to earn the money as well and she also creates the paintings on her own so it's a slow but fun process.

P.S I've been playing her house for 3 months straight and she is on her second long lifespan (I use the young again potion).
