- It depends on which world (save) I'm playing in. Mostly I ignore them, but in a couple, I intend to playing them just as the premades; befriend, marry, invite then to join households, give them makeovers if they do. In one world were I left aging on, several of the original premades have died and a few random townies have moved in. In another, I intend some of the evil/mean ones to befriend each other and form a gang.
- Yeah, its give and take on a few of them. I'll give some makeovers like Wolfgang and Max. Others I flag with MCCC so they dont die or get culled so my sims can meet, marry or carry on affairs with them(Brant, Morgan, Makoa and the like) and then others I could care less about.
- simkitten875 years agoNew Acesome of them happen to be there at the right time when my sim is looking for love or a friend. so sometimes they end up becoming friends or end up marrying my sims. the rest are just there like any other stranger sims my sim doesnt know and gets ignored.
- NateWhiplash5 years agoSeasoned AceI go through Manage Households on a fairly regular basis and delete any randoms that I find annoying
- OEII10015 years agoSeasoned AceSometimes I don't do anything with them. Sometimes I move them into a lot and promote them to NPC status if I find them interesting.
For example, when it was time for the mayor of San Myshuno's term to end I started to make his successor. But then I thought "OEII1001, what if they voted in the luchador guy that runs around the city? You know, what if they said, 'man, that's the crazy guy in the mask and tights that argues with pigeons in the Spice District all day, but I'm really aching for that upper bracket tax cut.'?". So I kept his appearance as-is, renamed him El Brazo Ridiculoso, and moved him into a posh apartment Uptown. - I use MCC to take the townies from my saved library sims instead of generating random ones. I actually do 75% mine and 25% random generated. I makeover and/ or save any random that appeals or brings the genetic diversity to my library.
- I have no excuse
sometimes i just have evil sims with evil basements used for population management
other times i just delete them from household section
and quite often i just pretend they don't exist unless vlad needs to order food
overall i just really need the "disable townie generation" toggle
I really wish i could have actual households and created sims show up to places and jobs so maybe i wouldn't kill everyone who hits vlads porch
especially because "I HAVE FAMILY" works better on me than actual serial killers - DaWaterRat5 years agoSeasoned AceMost of the time I ignore them unless one seems to catch my sim's interest, then I'll go in via MCCC and give their household a makeover.
I also have MCCC take most of them from my tray anyway, so the makeovers are usually just wardrobe. - keekee535 years agoSeasoned Aceother because some I play, some I have deleted and some I have killed...LOL Depends on what is going on in my game. Lately, the townies have been pretty boring so most have been getting deleted.
- I usually give them makeovers (I've also been doing that for the pre-mades in my current template save project). Then I let them alone and see what develops between them and my Sims. Usually after a makeover they turn out to be not too bad; sometimes I'll place them in a lot just long enough to cheat them some skills and reward skills, and maybe an actual job, before I set them back loose into the Not In World population. Once my Sim develops a relationship with one I move him/her into a lot so my Sim has a place to visit.
