What do you do with Townies?

Really, all of the above except have mods that take care of them.
I'll delete ones I don't care for (such as when I see too many single elderly households, ones with the same surnames, etc.), marry them into my main households if I like them enough, and I give any I like a makeover (without changing their basic features too much).

I spend hours giving sims makeovers. If they are friends or significant other to my main sim they get more thorough makeover/skills/Job/home. I only delete if they are aliens or especially hideous.

Since some of them end up being my sims's friends/roomates in uni or even lovers sometimes, and some get random cc that makes them look like a disaster, they really need a makeover. I also age them down it there are too many elders and change some of their trait, but not change their personalities completely, just removing the most not fitting ones

I usually always find spouses and friends for my sims among townies. I like their randomness. The makeover usually happens after they are wed. I didn't realize they were an "issue" to so many players, then again, there are some weird ones.

I give them makeovers but you gotta put Justine Keaton in your game for sure lol. Give her a makeover too :P

Now I am getting tired of it. I think I will simply delete the oddest ones from now on.
I will be making over University dormies however, and they will most likely have roles to play for my sims.

They will probably take up available housing and kick out the pre-mades as well.

I don't really do anything with them. If my sim befriends them, then I will give them a brief makeover but I won't delete any of them.

Hmm, I think Brandi was game generated, I think those tend to be homeless and she was. The other 2 married into my family had their own homes. For the most part, I just let the game do its thing and use MCCC to stop NPC pregnancies.
