What Do You Like About The Sims 4

There's several posts about this. It's not that uncommon to hear that people like TS4. :)

And I'm here because I can be here. The whole site is open to anyone who registers. :)

I like.. there were a few things I saw when I played last... I told myself to remember them. It was some simple things but they were nice and I hope the game will be something I actually enjoy playing when it's done.

I started playing TS3 again yesterday and I have to admit, I really miss the push/pull CAS. I can do facial features fine but I really miss it when it comes to general body shape.

It would be easier for me to list the few features I don't like so I'll just say I'm having a great time with the game and anticipating the future. <3

What do I like about the Sims4?

Children. I love the child stage. I love the look of the children, the small details added ( like mis-matched socks ). I love the monkey bars.
CAS. I just like it. It is far easier for me to make sims with.
Cooking. I like the expanded gourmet/baking/grilling sets. I like the wide variety of dishes to make.

Love the building improvements of Sims 4. Much more intuitive than previous titles.

Things I love:
1. CAS - Push/pull controls are amazing (in my opinion)
2. Emotional rollercoaster - I know some are annoyed by the mood swinging in emotions but I kinda find it endearing
3. FACIAL EXPRESSIONS! I know they've always existed to some extent, but I love that they are more reactive now.
4. Collections - I love pretty much everything about the collections system. I've always been an explorer in games so I love a game feature that actually encourages exploration.
5. I love that kids have their own section of aspirations. While I wish it was possible to level up more of their lifetime skills, I like that they have special skill-sets.
6. Build mode - Some of the features here are pretty darn cool. I love being able to move/delete whole rooms or drag them bigger and smaller. Cant wait to see what new build tools we'll get in the future! *crosses fingers for split level foundation options and terrain tools*
7. The Rocket ship. #rocketshiplove
8. Pregnancy tests - I am very nearly deaf so typically I play with the sound muted or I can't hear what's going on around me in the real world so its nice to not have to listen for that lullaby that I rarely could hear anyway.
9. Multitasking. It still cracks me up every time my sim takes a book to the toilet.

Hi, is that you? The person with the Sims 3 rant in that section, called "A Sims 3 Rant"? Why are you in that section?

Anyway: I like some of the building tools, I love how you can put hats on every haircut you choose, I like the way they did pregnancy (with the stages) and I like how I can give my pregnant sims any clothes I want. Those are major improvements in my opinion.

@JoAnne65 Oh me too on the pregnancy clothing! I loved the sims 3 but hated the default clothing they had to wear! So nice to be able to decide how they'll look while preggers.

@Rflong7 when I said 'Why are you in the sims 4 section anyway' I ment that for people that just hate on sims 4 that they shouldn't be in the section if they hate the game. It's good that you like the simple things in the game that most people take for granted :)
@Polyrhythm I agree, I play both TS3 and TS4 and although I haven't played TS3 in ages, but I used to miss the push and pull factors of CAS when I went back to the sims 3 :)
@simgirl1010 There's bound to be a few things that you don't like there is with any game, because no game is perfect, but I am really glad that you are enjoying TS4 :)

@Gruffman The children's monkey bars are cool looking and as far as my knowledge goes there was no monkey bars in TS3 :)
@Izziebelle I like some of the building features, like draging rooms and making just a room to share on the gallery and adding foundations after you have build, because times I have built a house or something and it's not until afterwards when it's too late that I discover it would look better with foundations :)
@duhboy2u2 I like the collectable figures from the mysims series that give off emotions, vibes and moods to influence your sim and I'm glad to see how much of TS4 you enjoy :)
@JoAnne65 That is me in that section because I have TS3 and 4, but I only really use sims 4 for the CAS and edit of my sims. I don ply it ocasioally but do prefer the sims 3 as an overall game. I also love how you can put hats on any hairstyle, too and wish that was in TS3 :)

I like how easy it is to build in Sims 4. I love the way my sims look and how easy it is to make them look good, bad, or ugly. I just wish we had toddlers and more generations style EP and seasons. Hopefully more advanced careers will be added I miss the firefighters, burglars, actual police that arrest them that could be a part of the active career. So much can be done with Sims 4 that they can be around for years instead of a new version every 5 years.
