What do you refer yourself as to your sims?

I see myself as their Caretaker .

The watcher also works. I can't read that word in the sims universe without thinking of sims medieval. Still one of the best sims games.

I reference myself as their Sim God, always watching, guiding them to wonderful, fulfilling lives (and maybe punishing sims who wrong my precious sims. Now, if I could just find the sim responsible for defacing my sweet Sam's celebrity tile >:) )

Their guide as well as their follower. I like that balance.

I see them all as my friends, but since I have my simself in the game they probably see me as their neighbor.

the Sims is an RPG to me, so I call me by their name, and then refer to others by their relationship with them.
or if I'm playing them another household, I call them by the sim I'm controlling's relationship to them.

I'm the Maker. I look over them and guard and guide them. I try my best to give them the best life possible but I also try to let life take it's course if it happens.

I don't refer to myself at all. I just say "my woman", "dad", "my daughter", "Michael" or any of the sims' names. I guess I identify as the current heir/heiress and then use pronouns according to them. I don't think of myself as the master or god or anything. I am my sims. All of them.
edit: I just realised when I'm playing a generation I identifiy as the heir and then call the heir's wife "my wife". But once they have children and they are old enough and I'm ready to move onto the next gen I start calling my initial heir "mum" and "dad" as I identify with the new generation finally.

I guess I see myself as their creator but I don't really think about it all that much. I also like the idea of being The Watcher as well like some have already stated.
