What do you think of accidental deaths?

Lately it seems I've had more than usual and I don't really like them. One was a Sulani drowning, very unexpected and with no warning. My sims often start to swim when I tell them to go home from Mua Pelam so from now on they will go somewhere else first. This sim was doing well in a career too but she was single so I accepted the death. The next one I did not because it happened to a family I've been playing for a while during my error code 0 time when it wouldn't save and I finally was about to get my couple married when she died of laughter. I didn't save. Another type of death I can't control is when my sim is visiting another family or location and they either catch on fire or freeze to death and you can't get to them in time.
