- I really like this I hope they make more packs like it
- It looks to me like the smallest Sims 4 EP so far.
- For a California-based world, I expected a bit more. Perhaps not as big as Windenburg, but definitely not a three residential-lot only. The one at the Pinnacles (64x64) might need a change, it doesn't look good.
As for the seasons, one of the Youtubers mentioned that SimGurus said it will not be snowing in Del Sol Valley, which again makes me think if it is worthy for Sims to move in there. Even if it doesn't snow in Los Angeles in real-life, the trade-off might not be for winter enthusiasts.
Love the acting career, the attention Sims give to you and the freelancer work that goes well as Youtuber. "Writin_Reg;c-16785259" wrote:
Very excited for this EP!!!!
I'm quoting myself - yes I know - because as the DEVS say - Things change - and "no longer" excited for this ep. I take it back - totally!
I base fun factor in two things - game play and playing my own Sims in this game. Game play means nothing if I can't have the Sims I planned to use in that world - in that world. Having just 6 residential lots with only a couple not in use is rather insulting in a game said to support rotational play when there is no room to place the Sims I wanted to play in this world in rotational play. It is deceptive to see a big world filled with houses but only 6 allow any Sims to live there and 4 are occupied by Maxis programmed Sims that are usually needed in the rest of the gameplay.
I am seriously disappointed in a ep I was so very much excited to get. The reason given for the lack of residential - does not remotely pan out when you know about programming, gaming rigs, and even the Sims games - this game, as I do. It's bad enough getting disappointed but to get ones intelligence insulted is a whole different level of upset.- Did not get it. So no opinion on it one way or the other.
- Sigzy_297 years agoLegendI bought it at full price and I have no regrets. To me the pack presents itself with a really good amount of gameplay, it is an Expansion Pack and in fact it truly does expand the game. The fame system is amazing, the way sims get famous feels really organic it's well done, and it works with some many different things too. I only wish the world was bigger, it's my only complaint.

Only because it's not the EP I need right now.
I would be more excited if I had University already. I will get more use of this later, after all my sims that I want to go to University have graduated, or have skipped Uni to pursue fame and fortune.
It's fun to revisit your first impression. :#
It's a more than OK for me, now that I have tried it. But it is still true that University is the pack I need most for where my favorite sims are in their lives. That save is still on hold as I experiment with Get Famous.
I will enjoy my old save more once I am familiar with how everything works and how I can apply it to that save.
The only downside for me is no beachfront neighborhood and not enough residential lots. - I certainly became less picky and bought the pack. My excuse was that “I need to support my future employers”. (I hope to be a sim guru some day!) I still haven’t done much with it though because my main sims are still children. I may regret getting it as it hasn’t really expanded my gameplay that much.
