What do you think of Get Famous?

I'm gonna get it because I buy every pack, but I'm not too much interested in the actor career. But I do hope this pack comes with pool tables (like TS3 Showtime) and cinemas (afterall there are actors, so it would make sense to add cinemas). Besides, I really love the new world, it might become my favorite world in the game.

Only because in all iterations I'm a supernaturals, magic, seasons, dark worlds, then university type person. Plus farming if we get that. lol But I did enjoy sims1 superstar and sims3 showtime. I made my imaginary friends to be acrobats. lol Anyway, I know I'll enjoy sims4 Get Famous because from the little info received today I have a few ideas up my sleeve. ;)

I love the cas/build buy items. The different acting sets seem interesting. Some of the current careers leads to being a celebrity seems cool too. A new world is always awesome.

Althouh celebrity play has never been on the top of my list (supernatural things, world adventures and pets are), this looks absolutely fun enough to play with. I'm very impressed that they edited all the old careers retroactively, and can't wait to see how the fame system works! ...and hey, new world! 'n luxury furniture!

Meeh, I didn't see much that I personally wanted in a new EP for TS4.
It looked more like a game pack than an EP to me.
Top on my list is
1. Still wanting a significant difference in teen sims so I can tell them apart from YA's & A.
2. Swimable lakes, oceans & rivers
3. Zombies, Witches and other Super Natural life forms.
4. Buy-able elevators so we can build our own custom high-rises.
5. School buses, Automobiles, Garages & Driveways
6. Return of NPC's like Firemen& Burglars
7. Free babies from bassinet
8. CAW
9. Farm EP complete with Cows, Horses & Chickens
10. School game pack

I want it, but I'm waiting until the mod situation is good again. I am not going to update my game until my mods are either working or the creator says they aren't going to update. However, I'm also not that concerned with fame in my game, which is why I never downloaded the Road to Fame mod. I'll likely wait for a sale. Most of the expansions have ended up all hype and then a huge let down. Seasons is the only one so far that feels I got my money's worth.

ETA, I'm waiting on a sale after seeing the footage. Its not worth the price of an EP and it should have been a GP, if not altogether free.

I like that this expansion is not just for the acting career, but other fields as well. You could, for example, become a famous lv 10 scientist.
However, I'd like to know how that fame will reward you. Hopefully it is more than just a fame bar that grants a moodlet or two.

I've already made a post on another thread about all the builds I can make from this pack, and that's enough for me to get interested. Suffice it to say, I don't see the pack for what it is alone. I can use the costumes in themed diners and bars. I can expand the usefulness of the Movie Hangout pack (or use that pack to expand on this new one). I can make movie memorabilia stores. I can give my celeb Sims like Bob Ross or the Winchesters their own, proper shows. Even my chef Gordon Ramsay can be famous like he should now.

There are way more options than many seem to give it credit for. I'm definitely looking forward to it. :)

I'll buy it, IF it comes with more than the acting career. The Influencer career is being added for free, so I'm not including that. It's great that the fame system extends to other careers, but that doesn't really add any extra gameplay.

Actually, your Sims can get famous in any careers... But, I assume that you're talking about a new career...

I don't know yet, I mean, the CAS and BB look good, but I've not seen enough of the new world, and I also need more info on gameplay before I can judge.
