Random flirting happening between Sims is okay until the flirting happens when one or both of those Sims is already in a committed relationship. I like to watch Sim relationships develop over time, and casual flirting is a good indicator of an attraction that possibly has a deeper meaning for those two Sims that I can't see or understand. If I have learned anything after twenty-plus years of playing this game, it's the fact I can't control everything when it comes to who my Sims choose to fall in love with. And even though they sometimes choose another Sim I would never have chosen for them, those relationships generally last and are happy unions. But once a Sim is engaged or married, I rely on a mod that prevents those Sims from straying.
