I want more for the elderly sims. Things like retirement parties, retirement homes, fix the bug where sims who retire show up as unemployed in the career panel. And more activities for them to do while retired besides knitting and watching their grandkids.
I want more for the toddlers/children in terms of skill building; I miss the lemonade stand and the easy-bake oven from the Sims 2. I also miss that toddlers and children had cute little interactions that they could do autonomously.
I want teens and adults to have a clear line of separation; "mess around" and "woohoo" look the exact same way. Fix the E-window from High School Years so teens can really sneak out. Fix Parenthood and High School Years so that punishment and mistakes that teens make actually elicit emotions. Teens who drop out of school, sneak out, or get bad grades should have some sort of punishment and moodlet; same with the parents. Teens are also lacking in certain traditions...Teens should be learning how to drive, special moodlets for the first time shaving, more opportunities for "firsts". First kiss, first date, first "A", first time at Prom, first time messing around, first time being grounded, etc.
Aging should stop in Discover University so Sims can really enjoy their years and not be penalized for it. By the time my Y.A graduates university and starts working, they're basically an adult.
I do think that driving should be introduced and have different animations; teens who are learning to drive and elderly that are close to passing away should have a lot more swerving and like problems with randomly breaking. Driver's License can be in a Sims inventory after they study and pass a test on a computer. Y.A and adults should be able to drive children and teens to school, or their after school activities. Family road trips, family vacations, etc should be based on driving. Carpool should also come back or at least be an option for those without a car or who can't drive. Cars should require maintenance and repairs (using the Handiness skill) or calling a mechanic NPC for a charge.
