I'm currently using @SweetieWright_84 's save file. In her world, Newcrest has three distinct neighborhoods.
Bridgeview has five houses, ranging from smaller homes suitable for single Sims or couples to larger ones where a family with kids can live. I often have a young Sim living in one of the small Bridgeview home.
Ridgeline Drive contains a shopping center, a vet clinic, a library, a flower shop, and a fitness center.
In Llama Lagoon, there's a pool and four larger houses.
I've had fun with Newcrest in other saves, too. I've filled it with Sears catalog homes from the Gallery, and I've gone the opposite route and placed restaurants, bars, cafes, and parks there.
