I think we'll get Seasons this year.... I hope so, I found The Sims 2 Seasons such a dream, it was by far my favourite expansion.
I feel the community can be critical of Sims 4, but I see how much the creators have achieved as I believe it was a huge step up from Sims 3 - for me it has been a seamless game playing experience as I had so many issues with Sims 3, I could barely play it without my computer crashing.
I've played Sims since 2002 and all evolutions of the game have added something new, compelling and exciting.
The Sims 4 team may feel pressure to appease the lifelong fans by releasing old favourites - but also pushing the creative potential of 4 and delivering something completely new with fresh gameplay would be / and has been incredibly welcomed by the community.
