What exactly is 'Generations'?
I keep seeing people post about wanting generations and that it's being hinted at in a future pack, but no one is explaining what it is. Anyone want to tell me?

Yes, but it was still fun to role play as a strict parent and send your teen kid to a military school. Plus, it was a way to avoid their teen dramas, although they'd get a bit ???? about it.
Lol, that's not very funny. You could still make a military school if you want and move your sim child out of the household for a while. I think Strangerville has a lot big enough for a school. :)
Yes, but with generations you didn't have to play them, just an occasional pop-up asking about an interaction. It was the only way to play with kids in the family,IMHO, it left you with time to focus on the adults and their careers and fun time.
They need a patch to add that.

If you miss it that much, just create a household where both adults are in a military job and move your unwanted kids in with them. Decorate the house to look like a military school. Move them back in your house right before they need to go to college. :smiley:
Wow, that is way too much work. Hoping they give us this in the future.

Why isn't it funny? And that is not the same at all.
Boarding schools had their benefits, sims would learn skills on their own and some other stuff.
Put them in clubs where they can learn skills.
Again very different. And we have to control the clubs. Not really understanding your issue with this feature.
