I wonder how club autonomy and school autonomy will interact?
I do want to have a bunch of clubs meet at school, but not if it stops them from going to class or lunch etc.
My plan is to try going to school a couple of hours before classes start, and starting the club meeting, and then ending the club meeting just a few minutes before classes start. My hope is that this will work by preventing other sims from coming to the lot, and then the teen sims who were already there for for the club meeting will get swept into the schedule for the day.
However, it's possible that if I don't time it just right, the other club members could end up just leaving the lot. If that happens, I will next try leaving the club meeting active and see how that affects class attendance.
Of course, in a perfect world, attending class would be an option for club activities (or we could have selected classmates to begin with). But I figure at least if they don't go to class, it should mean that we still see them doing homework in the library, painting in the art room, playing violin in the music room, working out in the gym, etc. (depending on what the club activities are), or at least roaming the halls being social. So it should still make the school feel more lively.
