Lyra bought her jewellery store from my Spellcaster this afternoon and just as I was wrapping up for the day her first crystal tree finally reached full size after 10 days of staying at the store in the little treehouse next to it. So she invited her nephew Shay to see the tree.
Emerald the poodle is especially proud since it was the golden poop he produced while he was sick that fertilised the most impressive looking tree and helped it evolve to Nice quality so quickly. He can't help noticing that his tree is towering over the little trees and he's grateful for the special fancy dog treats Lyra picked up for him on the way home from the vet. He did not like getting a jab in his paw from the vet though and he's getting a bit fed up of sleeping in the treehouse. He's also finding Copperdale a bit dull compared to their home in Tartosa because even a couch potato pooch likes sunshine. He's been spending most of his time sitting next to the street vendor at the Spring Food Stall hoping to get some popcorn shrimp thrown his way but he's had no luck so far 🐩.
The crystal tree is very pretty! @simsplayer818 🙂 Emerald is cute. It is sweet that he enjoys spending time near the food vendor, hoping that someone may give him some food.
@Ellupelluellu I thought it was never going to grow lol I was wondering if they stayed tiny but then remembered seeing a picture of a full sized one. That one is from Alexandrite which is my birthstone so it got extra attention from me...and from the poodle!
@rosemow the dog is at the food stall every day, he keeps sleeping there and my Sim has to keep calling for him lol. She's taken him back home to sunny Tartosa now so he can have his home comforts again with his own bed and his sunny beach to run around on.
I am exploring the latest stuff pack.
I gave my spellcaster sim a new outfit and really like the jewels and how customizable their are. I do think I am going to use some of them just as jewelry without charging them, just because I like the look of them

Not much happened today, felt bad that Alexis hasn't seen Catalina since she left Chestnut even though only 1 day passed 😅 Thats far too many days for them to be apart, so I let them go on a date. Alexis stopped singing just to stare at her ❤️

It was a day of contrasting fortunes for the Aguirre family businesses today.
The day began over at Dark Horse Vineyard in Chestnut Ridge where Cristobal started a new range of fizzy drinks to sell alongside his range of fine nectars.
Over in Tartosa and Copperdale, little sister Lyra was still searching high and low for amber for her jewellery business. She's travelled all over. She's been to her ancestral home in Selvadorada and she still can't find it. She's even tried fishing for it. But the day still ended on a happy note when dog lover Lyra encountered another lonely furry friend while searching in Brindleton Bay. So she took her to a vet to get checked out and then took her home.
Emerald the poodle was happy to have a new friend, especially as they have the same personalities of Playful Couch Potatoes. But the first thing they did was run away together! Then being Couch Potatoes they immediately dozed off in the street. But eventually they returned home safe and sound. And given that Lyra was on a crystal hunt when she found her new companion there was only one name she could give her ...Amber!
Emerald and Amber are sweet! @simsplayer818 🙂 It is great that Emerald now has a friend to go exploring with and play with I hope that they don’t go running away too often though! It is very nice that you named her Amber as a result of you finding her whilst looking for the crystal 🙂
- @rosemow I forgot to mention she approached two other strays that tried to bite her first! But Amber was friendly and loveable straight away 🥰.
