I have been resting my heel lately, reading, not much at computer in past days.

But the little I did play,  Mopsi is fine again, poor thing got fleas from something in wild bush 😛

I have just purchased For Rent in the most recent summer sale on the EA App and so I have been busy recently watching reviews/how-tos on the pack so I'm a bit more prepared for when I get back to playing when I noticed this really cool outfit that I thought was amazing for storytelling purposes (linked below).

I just got out of playtesting in my game seeing if I could somehow get a hold of this magnificent fit through the gallery/cheats but nothing seemed to unlock it!  I noticed that after the interaction finishes your sim will change back into their normal everyday and you lose the outfit.  Grr!  Anyway after tinkering about for a bit I managed to find a bit of a hacky workaround to get it to stay on the Sim and I just thought I would share on here if anyone was interested:

1. enter bb.testingcheats

2. enter bb.showhiddenobjects

3. type 'debug' into search, click any of the search results and filter by 'For Rent'

4. scroll through results until you find the item 'toxic mold pile' or 'allergenic mold pile' (I tested both and they both work)

5. run the 'Deploy Mold-Be-Gone' interaction (will cost 750 simoleans each time and for each sim you do it on)

6. pause the game before the sim interacts with said mold pile

7. shift-click on the sim and reset them

8. enjoy your new outfit for storytelling!

I've wanted proper chemistry googles (the ones from Get to Work just don't cut it for me) and some sort of mask combo for ages so I'm really happy that I have this in my game now!  The mask isn't perfect but it will have to do for now.

Now I can play the detective career with a fully kitted out Squint Squad of scientists!
