I do not like doing backyards since I'm really bad at decorating them, but for this backyard I did something that I saw from a video years ago. A small playground for kids, snatched the happy campers kit? (there is just too many packs/kits for me to be keeping up with names now😅) and with various items was able to bring it to life 😃 I wanted to use the base game ladders so kids can climb on the it but its too short for that so stairs will have to do. On the side it includes a garden for fresh fruits/vegetables, perfect for any baking needs I usually restrict # of packs but not doing that this time, makes building more fun 🙂
elliebreton I occasionally build with restricted packs as well. I think more people will be able to use these buildq because it doesn't require a huge amount of DLC. It also helps to appreciate what we get in each DLC. I am currently working on a cottage with fewer packs. I start with all packs and after I have a general layout, I look at which packs I used and try to stay within those DLC for furnishings and decoration. It's just occasionally, more of the time I use whatever.
