A week without an update? Dear, oh, dear. 

Continuing in my Landgraab Legacy.

Malcolm III is a total Bro and wanted to prove himself by knocking out the Championship Horseman aspirations, which….brother, I’d forgotten how time-intensive that is. I wound up stopping time and I feel like I said this beforeM

He finished university and began enjoying himself by exploring the slopes and hitting the Sulani beaches, emphasizing snowboarding and diving. After being sent an unsubtle nudge from Kaitlyn that it was time for him to get serious,    Malcolm returned to the mansion and sunk some family money into buying a rental lot that I’d built, only for me to realize that I’d forgotten how to designate subunits. As I was sleepy at the time,  I gave up.

He focused instead on his acting career, his writing, and painting.  While in college I’d allowed him to sow his oats, so to speak, and figured when heir-time came I would look at all of his illegitimate kids, pick the one that looked the most interesting, and invite them to move in. That would save on me having to look after them all the time.

Howeverrrrr,   one of his college girls asked to move in, and pretty soon she’d popped out yet another Malcolm, along with a Hoshi and a few others.   Malcolm IV, somewhat probably, rolled Rancher and Animal Enthusiast, giving me an idea for what to do with him.    Because I’d lost  interest so quickly in the For Rent gameplay, I had Malcolm be – rather generically – a businessman.  Although the family's money had long been maxxed out, I started giving millions away to family members like Mitsui and Shan-2 so that I always had something to work forward to.   Malcolm III and his sister Keiko began doing adventure trips together, eventually knocking out Jungle Explorer.

When Malcolm IV became a teenager, I began letting him develop a garden on the premises. We’d had a flower garden before which was a real money-maker, but I tired of having to tend to it with all the other stuff to do, and had moved it into inventory.  Malcolm IV – who I may just refer to as Four to avoid confusion –  began focusing on vegetables, which I thought would work well for what I had in mind once he came of age. Four was close friends with his older sister Hoshi, just as Three and  Keiko were,  and she often joined him in the work as he pursued the Freelance Botanist aspiration.

When Four came of age, he and Hoshi both moved to Henford on Bagley, where I decided to let him do college (Biology) part time and tend to his cattle, chickens, and small farm.  He failed half of his classes the first round,   and even with two hands present it was tedious constantly having to clean the cow or hear it threaten to run away.  Plus, Henford was always cloudy and gloomy, and I decided to let Four have a crisis of confidence. Deciding he wasn’t cut out for this, Four left Hoshi to tend the ranch (I moved in Mitsui so she’s not quite alone) and move to Britchester so he could focus on his studies. I had an ulterior motive,  of course: I hadn’t lived in the dorms and wanted to include that experience, and figured rightly that the dorms would provide plenty of romantic opportunities  and let Four meet some potential baby-mamas.

On a sad note,  Kaitlyn has  now left us for the further shore.  I monitored her age with MCC and had Four return home to witness her death.

To be honest, I am divided as to what to do with Four.  Given his traits I want to take another crack at  ranching, but maybe not in Henford.  I’m thinking of doing a semester in the dorms, then having him move to someplace like Brindleton Bay to try again.  And then he also has high skills in piano, violin, guitar, and singing, so at some point he’ll do a pass through an appropriate career. That, or clone himself and launch a one-man four-man band called The Fourchestra or something.
