On Winterfest Day, the family gathered for the tree decorating.
There was a lot of snow falling in Windenburg on Winterfest Day, so after opening gifts, everyone eventually made it outside to play in the snow. For Bernadette, snow was something new since she grew up in Strangerville.
Soon after Winterfest Day, River took Bernadette to the Bluffs, in the middle of a blizzard, and proposed.
Riley left for camp the day after New Year’s Eve – just a one-night stay since the next day was her teen birthday. In spite of some rainy weather, she had a great time and made some new friends at camp.

And it was teen birthday time for Riley.
The next day was Rhett’s young adult birthday. Riley (teenager) is standing next to him.

Happy birthday Rhett and Riley. Alo proposing in a blizzard is gutsy, but I guess its proof he can weather any storm lol congrats to the happy couple.
