Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wa...
I took a break from building my little date hub to give the restaurant a test run; especially now that Daisy has a new prospect.
She ran into Ashley, her first crush from camp, who just happened to be in town for the Romance Festival. Since they had both come alone, they figured, why not go together? They drank Sakura tea, tossed petals...
And by the end of the night, they shared their first kiss, exchanged numbers, and promised to see each other again soon.
Soon turned out to be the very next day, when Ashley called to ask if she’d like to go on a date. Daisy replied that she knew the perfect spot, so they headed over to SaltHaus Kitchen for breakfast a new place that had just opened in the Spice District downtown.
They were fortunate enough to secure a seat upstairs, where live music is usually played, but when no one showed, they surmised that the musicians must only perform during the dinner service.
Still, they had a wonderful time. Ashley didn’t balk at Daisy’s terrible puns or her mischievous teasing; in fact, she gave it right back in kind. They were so taken with each other that they barely noticed the waiter setting down their food.
Daisy didn’t quite understand the sudden urge that came over her, but she stood up and began serenading Ashley. Other diners paused their meals to watch, likely a little jealous of the attention. Ashley, though slightly embarrassed at being put on the spot, still thought the gesture was incredibly sweet.
Glancing at the time, Daisy realized she had to be on set in just a couple of hours, so it felt like the perfect moment to end the date. Before parting ways, they snapped a sweet photo to remember the day.
Pardon quality, its recreation as the original photo was ruined by lens glare.
She had a great day on set and even earned a Starlight nomination for her stunning performance. By midnight, Daisy finally made it home and headed straight to bed. It wasn’t quite winter yet, so she still liked to keep a window open, but in the wee hours of the morning, she was jolted awake by the faint smell of smoke. Leaping out of bed, she ran to the door and was shocked to see a fan sitting at her firepit, casually roasting marshmallows. Her stomach dropped as she wondered how long the woman had been there, and whether she had tried, unsuccessfully. to get through the locked doors.
Daisy slipped back inside to throw on some clothes, then marched out to confront the intruder. The woman’s smile quickly faded as Daisy unleashed her fury. Even after the woman left, Daisy recorded a rant, determined to stress to her fans that showing up unannounced at her house is NEVER okay.
She didn’t want to move, but she might be forced to if management couldn’t get a handle on things. After all, she had no desire to vanish like the previous occupant.
🥔Note: Ngl, I’m pretty annoyed that most of the photos taken through in‑game methods like the camera or phone keep showing up with a lens glare and end up ruining my screenshots. The weird part is, there’s no glare in the actual game photos they are putting on their wall or framing, and it doesn’t matter whether they’re using the expensive camera or have maxed photography skills. What gives!?
It was great that Daisy and Ashley’s date at your new SaltHaus Kitchen restaurant went well ❤️ It is lovely that they are getting on well together and sweet that Daisy decided to serenade her and a nice selfie to end the day. It isn’t though good what happened with the glare in the original in game photo 🙁It was scary for Daisy to find the fan intruder sitting at her firepit! I hope that she can get better security.
It looks like Daisy and Ashley had a wonderful date! I'm so happy for them and I hope it's just the beginning of something beautiful ❤️ Omg, fans crashing into stars homes is horrible. I'm glad nothing worse happened 😬
Be sure to turn off the flash. Cameras and phones both. That works for my graphics settings and I don't get that glare anymore. 99% of the time the flash isn't needed, even in low light.
Looks like a wonderful date! Awful about the fan sitting on her balcony! One of my previous sims that was famous lived in Newcrest and they had a pool. In the winter, one of the stans died every night in the pool. They would sleep on the pool rafts and Grim would come 😀
CuppaPablogidget1234EllupelluelluDaniRose2143rosemow Thank you! I’m happy her relationship is progressing. I cringed so hard when she started doing mischief actions I was bracing myself for Ashley to walk out on the date like Aeris did the first time. Speaking of Aeris, she hasn’t rolled any wants to call or go on a date with her, so maybe she’s finally over it. I used to think the “no touching” quirk was the worst, but honestly the stans are infinitely more annoying, lol. At least they’re not getting through the front door anymore, though I might place a barrier around the elevator itself just to add an extra layer of protection.

I don't think I even noticed there was flash! I'm gonna try this tip because this is so annoying.
