What happened in your game today?

Part 2.

So Todd Malone, Father Winter, was all "I'm not into woohooing men."

And Eun-ho was all "that's so rude. Isn't your whole reason for existing to have slightly magical children?"

Fine, I guess we're done here at the lighthouse. No hidden trait, but whatever, I can live without that. As as soon as we returned home... Eun-ho was abducted. It's all fun and games when it's one of the women, because they won't get pregnant, but... 

... men can get pregnant. Yes, those are sparkles. Groan.

You'll have to forgive some wall of text at this point.

I was planning on Eun-ho being pregnant, and if Todd was okay with men, he wouldn't have been able to get pregnant another way. So I blame Todd. I then tried to have one of the girls woohoo Todd, and he wasn't having that either. He won't woohoo anyone.

So what do I do?  Science baby! After all, only Todd is an occult Father Winter. I could get Clement if I cared enough about Lighthouse Conception -- Clement will woohoo anything that moves -- but there is the extra step of doing the Rite of Ascension. But why, when I've already done that with Todd? 

But, plot twist, having a science baby when your male sim is already pregnant with an alien abduction causes havoc. First there was a pop-up to name the child, as per usual. One thinks nothing of it. Kim Se-jeong. She'll be the next it-girl. 

But then there' another pop-up to name another child. A boy! Min-woo! Twins? From Todd? I guess that's possible. I've got no Ley Line or anything. Unexpected. 

But there's something wrong when I look at the portraits. Se-jeong is a human coloured alien, which is expected. I was having a science baby with Todd. But the second child is... blue? That's not right. What's happened is the science baby pregnancy has triggered the abduction pregnancy.

• the blue child is from Senior Pollination Technician #3, okay, but so is his sister. 
• the other child, the first born, doesn't (fully?) exist. Not spawned in-game, no 2nd bassinet anywhere, clicking the portrait doesn't zoom the camera anywhere. Does Se-jeong exist or not?

This possibly makes Se-jeong the rarest 1-of-1 sim ever born in Sims 4. (If she exists.) Sulani Mana and Grim Descendent is a good start already, but when every other child by Pollination is colourful, she isn't. As you can see from the pic, we're not at home. I placed a bassinet to give the game somewhere to put her, and travelled to the park an hoped for the best. I hoped travelling, and reloading the home lot might spawn her in.

No. Se-jeong still doesn't exist, but the bassinet disappeared!?!?

Now I'm totally at a loose end. I've got one baby for sure, Min-woo, but he's not a Father Winter's Baby. And if Se-jeong exists (?), she's probably not a Father Winter's Baby either, given how Todd is nowhere in the family tree.

So we went to the jungle. All the adults. 

Let's learn some new recipes and give the game a long time to think carefully about what its done to Se-jeong.

Eun-jae really only needs to establish 3 excavation sites for her aspiration and reach the end of a temple. She doesn't need to do the work. Let the others learn archaeology.

The second excavation site was at the plane crash.

This is the kdrama moment when the male lead takes his shirt off. We got one of the temples that has a pool you have to swim through at the start. (Eun-jae just flies on her broom, but she's Eun-jae.)

One temple treasure chest opened for the jungle explorer aspiration, she'll have to do another 2 trips to complete it. This was a speed run that took less than a day. It was helped by Eun-jae cloning potions of plentiful needs.

Back at the ranch... Se-jeong exists!!!! In the bassinet that I placed. It returned!?! These will be the most dissimilar twins ever. 

I aged them up to infants to see what traits they have, and sure enough Se-jeong is not a Father Winter's Baby. The game treated her as an abduction baby when handing out traits.

But we still need a Father Winter's Bay. I didn't turn Todd for nothing. I'm disappointed he's not gay, but surely he can give me a science baby this time? For the third time Todd, let's have a baby. 

And lo, we have 3 babies now! The 3rd child is another girl, Mi-kyeong, or MK to her friends. And she is a Father Winter's Baby, Grim Descendent, Sulani Mana, human skin alien. It doesn't seem like the game looked at her non-alien parent Todd at all. Slightly disappointed to be honest.  

Two cribs in the nursery (upgraded with mobiles), and an infant playmat in the music room. Yes, I am keeping them all, raising them all. 

So, 3 different and special aliens. 1) Blue Min-woo. 2) Se-jeong, who only half-existed for a while, is the child Senior Pollination Technician #3 has never had before. 3) MK has two dads and is the one we wanted at the start.

Eun-ho is doing some introductions so the women in the house can help with raising them. Maybe I can't move Eun-jae and Ha-yeong out for a long time. How different would the household be if Todd woohooed men? What a mad two days.
