Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wa...
Thank you for restarting this thread. I haven't posted much before, but I used to read through it a lot. I have been doing Deligracy's Tiny Town challenge. (Briefly, you have a lot with seven spaces for homes. Create seven sims and give them Random Skills, Decor Style, and Favorite Color) Deligracy made a lot and sims you can use if you want to try it. I made my own, though. Sim 1, Leon Woodman, Rolled Color=Brown, Style = Mission, and Skill =Handiness. I used woodworking to make money to build his home. I thought that would be the most difficult because I would have to use the selling table and Plopsy. But Leon did ok, and his house is a pretty cute one-story tiny home. Next, I rolled a painter, Sasha Painter, color = green; style = vintage. She leveled up and made simoleons very quickly. She has a nice two-story Victorian tiny home. 3 is Penny Focus, a photographer. (Color = Blue and Decor = Boho) Hers took a little longer Than I thought it would. She's the only one who has a career (Freelance Photography). I felt like that was cheating, but That is really the only way to make money with photography. Selling photos doesn't bring in very many simoleons regardless of the quality. She has a cool, tiny home with a second-story photo studio. The boho is fun to work with. Number 4 is giving me fits. She is Lia Amathyst, a gemologist. The color is pink, and the style is Luxe🤬(I'm not a fan of trying to make a house in Luxe!) Once I get her designing, the simoleons roll in. But trying to find the materials is really causing me fits with this one. I have resorted to fishing and dumpster diving to get resources so I can purchase the metals and gems on the table. But its slow going.
