Hi everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the new forum so far. I know I am!! I'm Charla, a big fan of The Sims 4! ☺️ I was going to join on the old one, but, as it only had a week left I decided to wait until today.
I loved lurking on the what happened in your game today thread so I thought would create a new one here.
So what's happened in your game today?
Today in my game I was playing as a character I created, Lauren Lord. She's an young adult, who dreams of being an author and a mom. Currently she's working as a school teacher, but today she had no work, she stayed at home and played chess and tended to her plants (when it wasn't raining!).
I also made this new Sim :) hope the pic works!

The kids look cute with the missing tooth 😁 The robber really chose Winterfest as the day to rob them 😭 Glad they had alarms though. lol Nala 😆 If you have control pets mod I think their family tree will show their dad 😁
They are lovely family photos of them celebrating Winterfest by opening presents together around the tree and going ice skating 🙂It is cute that Nigel and Natalie both lost teeth whilst ice skating. It was great that they had installed alarms to catch the burglar! Happy child birthday to Nigel and teen birthday to Natalie! Nalla’s kittens are sweet! 🙂
So, the start of my rotation is always with what used to be the legacy house, before I started playing rotationally. It always feels like home to me, but it is a bit of a mess. Sort of a dumping ground for every new thing that comes out, and generations of paintings, collectibles, cross stitch designs, etc. They are hoarders in this house. While I am here, I hope to organize and unclutter some rooms. It has been a while since I was here. Hannah, Ella’s oldest child, lives here (Newcrest) with her husband Yoltic, cat Nalla, and their two children, Natalie and Nigel. Hannah was my Lovestruck guinea pig. She got a job in the romance career when I got the pack, and she met Yoltic on Cupid’s Corner. I know that I have not been here since getting Life and Death, because we did not have a funeral for Ella.
When I arrived, Nigel was a toddler, with a birthday coming up soon. This is him and Dad working on some blocks.
And with Nalla.
And then he had his child birthday.
Natalie was still a child too and Winterfest came around and this is the whole family opening presents.
The skating park is nearby, so they all went ice skating on Winterfest Day.
Natlie and Nigel both lost teeth while ice skating.
Luckily, Hannah remembered to install some alarm systems at the house, and they caught this burglar about to steal the bathtub.
Nalla was Ella’s cat, but the whole family loves interacting with her. She enjoys the laser pointer and the Roomba.
Natalie had her teen birthday.
And then we got a surprise today. Nalla, who has the free spirit trait, apparently was out and about in the neighborhood and got pregnant. (Lessons learned – spay free spirit female cats) She had two female kittens, Nikki and Noodle. I don’t know who Dad is, but I am guessing he was a gray cat.
