I posted these on the old forum a few days ago. For those new here, this is the wedding of Raj Rasoya and Zoe Patel. Prior to this, they had a huge engagement party with all their friends, but opted for a private ceremony with Geeta officiating.

(I have to say that while I'm finding the new forums hard to navigate, it's much easier to post pictures!)

I have Rashidah Watson, still a teen, living on her own i my main save. She kinda wanted to escape her parents. 

She helped me to make a decicion.

"This phone rings all the time.. maybe it goes away if I wish hard enough??"

"Please, go away!"

"OMG, I did it!"

No you did not, dear. I installed a mod😇

It's been a while since i posted an update, that's because i've been busy building some new houses for my sims to move in to. 

We start a new sim year in my current save, 2006. 

When I last posted there was a showdown between Steve McBOSS and Victor Alverez. Unfortunately we lost Steve McBOSS to a purposely badly prepared pufferfish that was prepared by Victor during their showdown. While Victor was in the toilet, Steve begged Victor to let him call his daughter Bitty who was staying with her mother in Oasis Springs for the remainder of the Winterfest holiday. Bitty rushes to her father's aid but by the time she got home, Steve had already died. She is confronted by Victor as she finds Steve dead. 

The next morning, Bitty is walking around her home still taking in the events of the night before:

My sim self can hear a commotion outside Bitty's house from across the road as he wakes up. He looks outside and there is a few police cars and an ambulance outside. He decides to get up and check things out. 

My sim self goes outside and see's three police officers gather outside Bitty's house

Inside Bitty's house, the police officers are trying to workout what's happened overnight. 

OFFICER: Well, this one looks like Steve McBOSS but i don't know who the other guy is. 

Just at that moment Bitty appears. BITTY: The other guy is Victor Alverez, I killed Victor she exclaims. The police officers interview Bitty and ask her what happened. She explains that she got a call from her father who had just been given bad pufferfish badly prepared by Victor. Her father had called her on the phone to explain this and what was going on between them. When Bitty arrived home she was confronted by Victor Alverez and she grabbed the nearest object available to hand and struck Victor with it. The police officers explain to Bitty that she could be held accountable for Victors death so they arrest her and take her to prison. 

A few moments later, my sim self approaches the officers outside. He asks what's going on but they can't reveal much at the moment apart from that there have been two murders and one of those is Victor Alverez. My sim self is shocked and tells the officers that he used to be married to Victor's daughter Elena. He asks the officers to be the one who breaks the news to Elena. The officers are grateful and they tell my sim self that Elena needs to come down to identify her father. 

The next day my sim self's second ex wife Elena arrives at his house. They were married between 1989 and 1993. They divorced due to loyalty issues after Elena's father made my sim self's bakery go bankrupt in 1992 after he embezzled money from the business. This is the first time my sim self has seen Elena since she left in 1992. 

Elena arrives totally feeling totally nervous about seeing my sim self again. 

They sit down and have a long catch up. My sim self finds out that Elena is now married to Lucas Munch and is still living in Willow Creek. They married in 1996. Elena's twin daughters Rhea and Cristal from her first marriage are doing well and Elena is now step mum to Lucas's daughters Katerina and Gretchen whom he had with Olive Tinker who is Lucas's ex wife.

My sim self cooks a nice hot meal and he introduces Elena to his twin daughters Hannah and Ashley from his third marriage to Emily who died from laughter in 2003. (Young Cristal and Rhea can been seen in the photos on the shelf behind Elena and Hannah in this picture) 

After dinner, my sim self asks Elena what her plans are. She is going to identify her father then she is going to Henford-on-Bagley to stay with her mother where they will prepare the funeral arrangements and put her father to rest. 

Rashidah is learning what it really means to live on her own in Henford. It means getting up at 5am..

More chores...

And she has to do the homework still, she has school. after all.

Pico can't be bathed in the shower so Cat and Alexis found a solution. 

"Yay, my own bathtub!" Pico was excited he didn't sleep that night
