What happened to gameplay kits?

Wasn't the gameplay kit they released buggy? Guess they've realised that if they just release items people will still buy it and there's no complex coding work to do ?‍♂️ Dream Home Decorator gets praised as one of the best game pack even though the gameplay doesn't work because the furniture is nice...
