What happened to Get Together parties?
My sims never get invited to parties at the bluffs/ruins etc any more. I just get neighborhood stories spam, even though its disabled. Is it just me?

My sim got an invite to a party at the bluffs just a few days ago. It functioned as intended after I cheated the weather to not be raining. I have a screenshot but I'm not on my PC now.
It wasn't one of the Windenburg sims that invited her, but a sim I created myself and put in the game as a townie. It was also not the first household in this save either. This is a base/template save I've used for years and it starts at one week played because I wanted to have completed the StrangerVille mystery. It was a single sim household with a sim who travels frequently, especially to bars, lounges, nightclubs, etc.
I do have some mods that affect what type of phone calls you do and do not get, but none specifically related to Get Together I think. It may still be a factor in this matter though.
