I've always been curious as to where Jacques Villareal's wife is and if she's dead. I've read lots of crazy theories, one of which is that Mila Munch is actually Jacques' wife! I personally believe Jacques killed her, or his actions got her killed, which made his son, Max, evil. Max resents his father and hides behind his bad boy act to appear tough against his father and everyone else. I thought I'd create a fun little poll to see how many Simmers believe certain theories.

I have two sims for that role, Sandra (my own invention) and Portia (from the GT trailers)SandraShe left Jacques when Max was a baby. They had gotten into arguments before, but Sandra was reluctant to leave, knowing a divorce would be hard for the twins. But when Max was born both parents agreed that Sandra should leave before he could bond to her. Despite their differences in world view Jacques and Sandra parted on surprisingly good terms, but then she disappeared. The children believe she got killed by rival criminals. The truth about Sandra's disappearance varies from save to save, sometimes she's a secret agent, sometimes the Landgraab mob killed her and sometimes Jacques ordered her death. But he never killed her with his own hands. PortiaShe's just noncommittal, but otherwise as much a criminal as Jacques. Depending on how I set up things she is the mother of all three Villareal kids as well as Brandon (also from the trailers) or of only a few of them. In saves where Portia exists I tend to re-unite the family, but I also love Jacques with Mila.

Some people say that the backstory is actually a reference to Bella's disappearance in The Sims 2. His wife was most likely quite younger than him and like Mortimer, he also has an older daughter and younger son. Both Mortimer and Jacques' wives disappeared under "mysterious circumstances".

I personally think that Max is a bad egg that, due to some unfortunate genetics combined with the way he was raised, made him a sociopath.I think he is an evil genius that killed his mom and managed to get away with it. I'm not sure about the details though, maybe someone that's better at story telling than me can think it up.

In my game she was Bella Goth's sister who was killed by Victor Feng and Nancy Landgraab to take control of Windenburg. Max was traumatized, Jacques went insane.

I just looked up Jacques’ traits and yup, I’d say he killed her. Seeing your other post as well...what if took care of her and Mila Munches husband as well cause she’s “good” and she didn’t want to go through with it

Jaques is on a witness protection scheme and has been hidden on the island by the police after his wife was murdered to stop her testifying in a Mafia type case. He wants to get out of the Mafia. :) B)

Yup , he killed her , or hired someone to get rid of her. Maybe he hired his co-workers to kill her.

Of course, he also could have left her as she wanted to pursue a career in politics in Selvadorada (other worlds are available)! to overturn the current regime, opposite to his own political views

You could create her give her the politics career and get them together again when she has made it!

I know I'm late to the party, story of my life, but I just started playing The Villareal's and this is what I'm going for:

Luna - Psychology (Secret Agent - Diamond Agent)

Hugo - Culinary Arts (Culinary - Chef)

Max - Villainy (Astronaut - Interstellar Smuggler)

And because I'm obsessed with twins, I made Luna and Hugo twins :smile:

I actually made a different twist on this. His wife drowned, then came back as a ghost. Him and her hate each-other, but have nearly maximum romance.

Honestly, I would buy any of the above, except for the Mila Munch theory.

For one thing, Luna had to get her good looks from somewhere, and it sure wasn't from her father.

Personally, though, I'm inclined to believe Max did it, but only after Jacques planted the idea and tacitly encouraged him to do so.

I was tempted to play it that way, but Jacques isn't "evil", just erratic. That's why I went with the accidental death since he was being erratic somewhere else while his wife was drowning. Yes, definitely mental, but not deliberate, even though he was partially the cause.

EDIT: Oh and max loves his mother in my game. She is a selfish lazy snob, lol!

I kind of always thought, Mr. Munch went missing, Mrs. Villarreal went missing. They ran off together, left spouses and children behind as some people do in RL.
