In my rotational save, Bob started out as a pretty sweet, attentive dad to Iggy, and Eliza was super strict with high expectations. The marriage was on the rocks when Bob's lottery ticket turned out to be a winner, and they moved to a big McMansion in Newcrest. Shortly after the move, Bob was struck by lightning and died.
Things went downhill after Bob's death. Iggy grew up to be a little nerd obsessed with computers and rock collecting. Eliza grew more and more frustrated, strict, and distant. They had a kitchen with all the trappings, and Eliza became addicted to the ice cream machine and developed diabetes (using adeepindigo's mod). Shortly after turning 18, Iggy got his high school girlfriend pregnant.
At this point, Eliza disowned Iggy and threw him out of the house. The girlfriend broke up with him, and he had to move to City Living apartment with all the maintenance problems and fend for himself while paying child support. At some point Eliza died of complications from the diabetes, but Iggy didn't inherit any of the estate.
He eventually got back on his feet though. He graduated university, became a teacher, and married Brandi Broke's adopted daughter Pearl, a master gardener. They live in a new build house in Newcrest with a giant garden. They regularly have Iggy's ex and firstborn son over for dinner. Their own daughter is even nerdier and more awkward than her dad, but she's going to have a happier life.
