Hi guys. I'm doing a challenge that I made up (not sure if it exists already) where you run a little Youth/home thing for insane runaway teens who were so neglected and naughty as a child they've ended up in my care. They're only allowed day out trips on the Weekend but other than that, they cannot leave the Facility. So yeah, I mainly wanted to know if social services will take away the Teens if I don't allow them to go to school. I know with Child sims they can be taken away, but is it the same with Teens?! Thank you.

My teens can't be bothered to go to school :) The principal may call them from time to time but they just tell him to go plum himself :D

I'd be interested to know this, too. I tend to play my Sims as "good" and I'd really like to break out of that mold.

My teens always hang out at bars instead of going to school. I like that.

Nothing, My sims have never gone to school, I like it better, kids or teens, nothing happens and they just age up normal.

I just wish there were some consequences for getting low grades at school.
I would have loved it if we had low income jobs that will be the only jobs available to the teens who get D and F when they become YAs. This way it would have made more sense and would give us an advantage of sending teens to school and make them do their homework.

Right now there is no significance of doing homework or even going to school. I hope when University EP is added all this will change. So getting good grades at school will give you an advantage of joining university and getting high income jobs

If you get good grades as a teen you get a head start in your Career.
Which is basically all that happens if you don't go to high school in real life too xD

But if you have more time to spend on skills, you can make more money on craftables. Ultimately it depends whether you want them to be a company CEO or a free-lance craftsman.
