Things that surprised me to learn about my playing habits:
- Despite clamoring for laundry for a long time, I do not really enjoy that feature. Hardly ever use it anymore. Dusting is on in all saves, though.
- For a story focused player I can get tempted by satisfaction points far too easily. Current example is my programmer Susan. Her husband is doing the Soulmates aspiration and I switched Susan to it, too, so she can get the same points. I don't even know what to spend her points on that would still be in-character, but it doesn't matter. I NEED those points.
- My playstyle didn't change much since Sims 1. It's still aging off, free will off, story progression off, control pets on and irregular rotations.
But there are two changes that I didn't expect to occur: I now prefer small and medium sized households over full ones and I hardly update the household bio anymore.
