That baffles me as well as I have not seen any surfaces that were broken at all in my game. Maybe they mean their CC that broke because they recoded all the furniture that comes with the games - which broke CC furniture of course, because it was made with the old code. This simmer might not realize CC and mods break when the code and script of the game gets changed. That of course is a CC problem - not a game problem and the main reason I NEVER use CC or mods in a developing game - as I know they break and just don't find them worth the hassle. But I honestly haven't had issues in my game with any of the surfaces. I learned my lessons with CC a long time ago. It can be very enticing - beautiful stuff - but in an ever changing game - don't let yourself be mesmerized unless you enjoy doing the hoop jumping with every major patch. LOL.
