I was removing someone from my household and I saw you can turn your sims into a plant sims . What the heck is that and why ?

I find that whole concept of a “plant” sim very weird. What’s the significance of them? I’d rather have other occults like genies, fairies, or maybe superhero's would be a cool one. I just never got what a “plant” sim is
