What is 'adopt as care dependent'?
I've never seen it before.

It is an option to have anyone that resides in the house to adopt and care for the child like it is their own. Example, a single parent asks a new partner to move in to his house and they do. Have the new partner choose to adopt care dependent the single parent's child and they will care for the child just like It is their own.
