My sim got invited out on a date with her boyfriend to a certain location. Once they got there, there were several celebrities jumping around and drawing attention to themselves. I was trying to get my sim and her boyfriend to do stuff with each other, but everything I kept trying for them to do kept getting canceled out. They would walk around the celebrity, and there was nothing I could do about this, or stop it. What in the sim world is going on? And more importantly is there a way of stopping this, without turning off the celebrity part of the game?

And I think celebrities are so common like there is too much of them. And here my game is generating celeb townies. They shouldn't be everywhere.

Yeah, I already know that. But I say the existing celebrities are in every lot I go and they should be harder to find. They are even walk-by's in Forgotten Hollow. Like really, what would a celeb do in FH??

What is going on, I think it has to do with celebrities? How do I deal with this issue?

Keeping my fingers crossed that this gets fixed. Sims should still be able to do everyday things even if there are celebrities around :)

Yeah had the same issue. My sim went on a date with Lilith and they barely even dated at the table because she was to distracted by Mortimer Goth. (I made him a celeb since he is a writer)

You can turn fame off and although it will keep all sims who have fame where they were at it won’t generate new ones. And you can still turn it on for your own sims without turning it on for the whole town.
