What is going on, I think it has to do with celebrities? How do I deal with this issue?

My sim got invited out on a date with her boyfriend to a certain location. Once they got there, there were several celebrities jumping around and drawing attention to themselves. I was trying to get...

It's true. The option is in the game options.


No, it isn't true. The option prevents existing sims from gaining fame but it does not prevent new celebrities from being generated.
