What is going on with failing classes?

My latest sim got an A. It seems like you have to do all homework, presentations, papers, edit them, skill up. Don't miss any classes. Check in with professors as well.

But how do you get honors?

That will be noted on your degree at graduation. So long as you are still pulling A+ then you are good.

Ah, I didn't know about this feature at all, thanks so much for the clarification. I still don't own the pack due to work overload, but I absolutely love this addition.

It threw me off as well, as unlike real college, honors status is not denoted per term.

I think the game just does whatever, my sim is maxed skills and does everything she is suppose to and gets A- or B it's random but makes no sense

Pretty please, just give us a little bar or information in % how our Sims doing in the university.

I send to school couple of my full skilled Sims (everything useful, including charisma and "discussion" 10 lvl). I do every homeworks, my Sims was on every classes, all bars full, focused moodlets (I made them special club), they were focused on their classes (make notes, listen carefuly), terms papers and presentation were the best, they even visited their proffesors, asked via phone about their notes and... one guy A, second guy and the girl - B-... Why?
Yes, I'm perfectionist, I know, but why three Sims, who did exactly the same, had different notes... It's annoying.

I still don't know how my sim failed baking her elective when she passed all her other classes she did everything and turned in everything.

Did the Sim that failed raise the targeted skill? If the skill was maxed out then I don't know what happened. If there was a term paper did the sim edit to improve it to outstanding?

Two of my sims got a C in their electives and A+ in their major courses. They did everything the same for all classes and this happened in two different saves. Would be nice to have an explanation. One sim was low skilled in the elective, the other had a higher skill level. They didn't fail, but I see something wrong here.
