I do not think it has to do with decorating since it is a single slot, if the choise is art deco and your Sim do not live in that style, do I have a constantly stressed Sim?! I don't think it has with sexual preferences either. That could be considered excluding if all of us who are heterosexual always made Sims that has that orientation uploaded them on the gallery. It might be what world they prefer to live in, but is that in itself worth an extra slot?
