What is the best Sims 4 pack?

I have previously done a poll where I asked what the worst pack was. It made me think of doing a poll where I asked what was the best Sims 4 pack. So here I am. I chose the most loved Sims 4 packs to put on this list. Similar to my previous poll, I'm listing these in order of how much I like them.

Cottage Living comes with such great gameplay features, and there's even lore. I also love the Cottagecore theme it has. The world is so beautiful and unique.

High School Years is another great pack, but I don't have it so that's why I ranked it lower than Cottage Living.

Seasons introduces weather, holidays, and of course, seasons. It makes The Sims 4 feel a lot more realistic and interesting, although it's kinda bland, it's still great. I also love that you can create your own holidays.

Cats and Dogs introduced something we didn't have before; pets. The pets also feel like actual beings rather than objects. This is because they have unique obsessions and fears. You can't control them so they have a mind of their own, which I actually like. Cats and Dogs makes the game so much more complete.

Parenthood is another pack a lot of people like, and I can see why. Although it is quite lacking so I ranked it pretty low.

Nifty Knitting is another pack I don't have, so that's why I ranked it the lowest.

    1. Seasons - I love that the weather changes. That it affects all worlds. It has a ton of gameplay for all ages. The calendar is a great addition and I use the CAS and build/buy daily.
    2. Parenthood - I love the gameplay this adds. With shaping and raising kids to the small details like packing a lunch. It adds a lot of nice content for families and makes the game more enjoyable. Also, it affects the whole game not just one world.
    3. High School Years - I haven't played around with this pack as much but again it does a lot for teens. I love that I can choose to follow them or send them alone. It comes with a ton of nice content and affects all households and worlds.
    4. Cottage Living - This pack added a lot of CAS/buildbuy that I use often. It added a ton of new gameplay as well. It's lower on my list because I don't play cottages very often and most of my family don't live on farms or gardens.
    5. Cats & Dogs - This pack is great if you love looking after your pet 24/7. I find out to be annoying in the sims and the pets in the sims 4 seem to be high maintenance. I do love the buildbuy/CAS in this pack and use it often.
    6. Nifty knitting - This would be higher on the list but it's just a stuff pack. I have nothing negative to say about it and I love all the content that it came with.
  • Werewolves, but it's not on here sadly. That would've been my choice. Not only is the gameplay relatively good, but it helps fill in niches with its CAS and build/buy objects that no other DLC has before... or after. Easily a B- or A-tier pack for Sims 4 standards.
  • OK, so I've noticed some of the gameplay packs have been mentions as best packs also.
So, here's my favorite packs from both expansion & gameplay in order:
    1. Seasons (Should of been in Base)
    2. Get Together with Cottage Living (Historical Fun)
    3. Island Living with Wedding (Historical Fun)
    4. Vampires with Realm of Magic & Werewolves (Fantasy Fun)
    5. Get to Work with Strangerville & Journey to Batuu (SIFI Fun)
    6. Cats & Dogs (Pets & Autumn Fun)
    7. Spa Day with Snowy Escape (Spa Wellness with Winter Fun)
    8. Outdoor Retreat with Jungle Adventure (Historical Fun)

What can I say, I so love playing Historical Timelines, Fairy Tale Fantasy, Seasonal Events
    & Futuristic SIFI. ;) :p B)
  • I got HS Years during the last sale and I'm really enjoying it, but I went with Cottage Living because it added things I use all the time. I use Simple Living on every single residential lot. While it is convenient, I never liked the magic food producing refrigerator thing.
  • I am suprised that "City Living" is not among the packs, In my humble opinion it is only surpassed with a narrow margin by "Seasons". Besides Wolvies always make me happy!
  • Season was just okay and nothing that made me feel giddy about as I felt it was a watered down pack that had a few enhancements done to it.
