I like giving odd names to some of my characters, but I think of them more as fun than funny. Last night we opened up Sims 4 with my niece though (to show her how much the game has changed since she used to play), and she laughed at some of the names.
Her favorites were a sexy albino chick named Snowy Crispus, a sexy black chick named Coco Chanel, and an evil goth guy named Leviathan Crowley. (I forgot to tell her that Leviathan's sister is named Morgana Crowley, and that Leviathan and Coco's baby is Mordred Crowley. She probably would have loved that too.)
