Australia is the same as New Zealand as far as ratings go. It's rated M (16+) here. The ratings here are the same as the first post, with the addition of:
1. MA(15+) - contains strong content and is legally restricted to people over the age of 15. It contains elements such as sex scenes and drug use that could have a strong impact on the viewer.
2. an X category for stuff that is sexually explicit - it's only available to adults.
