What packs are good and bad is a matter of opinion, but some packs are hated more than others. The packs I listed are the most hated ones. Journey to Batuu is obviously going to get a lot of votes, but I still included it there anyway. My First Pet stuff is just the addition of extra stuff that should have been in Cats and Dogs. You also have to purchase Cats and Dogs in order to buy My First Pet stuff. My Wedding Stories is extremely buggy and nearly unplayable as a result (I don't know if the bugs were fixed, I don't have it, it's a good pack on it's own but given how many bugs it has, I can see why it's so hated). Dine Out takes an extremely long time for your food to be served, and I've heard it's also very buggy. I don't understand the hate towards Strangerville since it's a great pack with an awesome story, but since it's hated I still put it there. The packs are sorted based of off how much I hate them.

I love Strangerville and My First Pet. I don't own the other three for different reasons. I dislike Wedding Stories and Batuu because I have no interest in those concepts. They don't offend me by there existence, though. Maybe someone else enjoys them. Dine Out is a whole other level. I would have really enjoyed a good restaurant pack, and I miss that feature from the Sims 2. Unfortunately, I've seen people play with it in let's plays and it looks so cumbersome to use that I can't bring myself to buy it. At least Wedding Stories and Batuu didn't disappoint me.

I don't hate any of the packs listed. My least favorite pack would have to be Werewolves simply because I'm not really into any of the occults except Spellcasters.

@Eleri if you're not opposed to mods Carl's Guides has one called Dine Out Reloaded. It's supposed to be really good & makes Dine Out more fun to play.

Journey to Batuu was the only pack (besides kits) that I have not purchased. I considered myself a completist until that was released. I enjoy tge vampires and spellcasters but that pack was just uninteresting to me. A touch too much fantasy maybe? Just not my kind of world.

Journey to Batuu would have been great for me but it was restrictive in what I could do in it and should have been more open. I prefer Strangerville to this.

- City Living. I hate appartements and I hate the festival notification. And I really hate San Myshono.
- Jungle Adventure. I don't like the vacation and adventure thing.
- Dream Home Decorateur. Because of that stupid job.

I hate My First Pet Stuff for what it represents, but objectively I feel like Journey to Batuu is the worst due to the simple fact that it’s boring and shallow. With the others, there’s interesting gameplay at least, but the same can’t be said for Batuu.

Also, side note, even for all its bugs, I love Dine Out. I love having my sims go on dates at restaurants, or just grabbing brunch with friends, etc. I especially love looking at the other guests and seeing what they ordered or who they’re getting dinner with. It’s just cute to see like the Goth family out for a family dinner, or some random sims going on a date. There’s something about dining out that’s really satisfying, and I can’t quite explain it.

There's nothing wrong with My First Pet stuff, it's just an add-on that maybe should have been included with Cats and Dogs, is all.
Wedding Stories and Dine Out, on the other hand, are broken, WS more so than the others. I just want to bulldoze all the lots and use it as a vacation destination. IDGA flip about the weddings at this point.

That's what I did. I bought it on sale for the world and build/buy/CAS stuff. My Sims elope at home 99.9% of the time. I moved a couple of wedding destination lots into one of my commercial worlds and turned Tartosa completely residential.

I don't hate Batuu, I think if there was a buildable neighborhood it would be a lot better but I'm not mad I bought it, glad I waited for a sale.
I really enjoy my wedding stories. The world is beautiful and I've been lucky in that the wedding function works for me. I have no complaints about this pack.
Dine out just needs to be fixed, it's a little shameful that it hasn't been fixed or refunded yet.
My first pets stuff should have been included in cats and dogs.

I had a hard time choosing between Journey To Batuu and MFPS. I am NOT a Star Wars fan at all. And I think it's atrocious that you have to purchase Cats and Dogs to be able to purchase MFPS. The fact that I'm not a Star Wars fact took over. I still have EP's, GP's and SP's to purchase, but those 2 will not be in my collection.
