I am playing generationally at the moment and the heir usually has two-three children at most. I try to skill build with my heir when they are in their teens so I can spend less time doing that during the YA stage. I also have them meet their spouse when they are a teen. I also like drama, so all of these choices are potentially possible in my game, and then some!
