What is you favorite type of family to play?

usually married sims with 2 or 3 kids bc I always make the houses I move them into have 3-4 rooms by accident :0

While right now I'm trying different types of families, I've always been big on family play. Looking back at the beginning of TS4, a lot of my sims had more than 4 kids. I think the most I've had in one generation was around 6. It's nice to look back on the old families and see how big their families have gotten. I might try doing that again just for fun.

A bit irrelevant for me because I just play generations of the same family, so I've seen about everything.

I am a family player. no matter which Sims game I enjoy raising a family, and seeing children become adults and have their own kids. I also do most of the other types of families listed there as well.

I like playing a couple with only one child. I'm really too lazy to have more than one child to control.

Single Sims are more fun for me. I can try out a lot of stuff in the game, like getting all the achievements or messing with the townies. I can try out many careers with one Sim. I can check out all the public venues. I don't spend 80% of my time micromanaging everything. Getting married and having kids are about the last things my Sims tend to do, kinda like the sign they're being put out to pasture, lol.

i play plenty of singles, but i don't consider a single sim a "family"?? :o

The bigger the family the better. I love a challenge. :)

I will inevitably play all of them throughout my legacy. But my favourite families to play are just a married, childless couple.

I find children stressful because I inevitably push to max out their personal development, their grades, achieve their goals all in a normal lifespan. And with toddlers, I always get them the top notch toddler trait so it's a lot of work. I like coming to a rotation where my married sims can leave the pets behind and go to festivals, or out to dinner or on a walk through the park etc.

I get bored of just a single Sim or a childless couple so I tend to have them get pregnant to give me something else to do.
