- I just love to build stuffs. I play the game sometimes, but I often find myself abandoning my Sim's in search of another build.
- ChampandGirlie6 years agoSeasoned AceI like playing a rotation that, like someone else said, is more of a community. I have various characters and I like seeing them interact which influences the gameplay.
They have different socioeconomic backgrounds, personalities, likes and dislikes, and influencing factors. I get to see everything by moving around. I try to make sure they all get played though I'll move some to unplayable and just age them along if they are too boring. It's basically my own story progression.
I guess it means that I have these different subsets of characters that are being generated. Maybe at some point I'll save some of them and move them out into a new save or saves. Having them all in one means that I play them all. It also means that in one part of town, the celebrities are living their glamorous and dramatic lives. I might then switch over to sleepy StrangerVille where a happy but simpler family is just playing with their sprinkler and doing laundry.
I like mixing it up with different experiences but then drawing them all together. Most recently, I'm playing distant relatives of the Goths who just moved into Willow Creek. Their names are Gunilla and Stefan. They never knew the other Goths and are just teens. An estate attorney tracked them down and informed them of their inheritance of Villa Ophelia. They've just moved in without really knowing each other or anything about the previous Goths but they are very much Goths themselves too in looks, personality and behavior. I've said they are distant cousins and they are also "the last Goths". I'm a few generations down from when the others died out.
I guess that's my "Halloween" gameplay. They are just teens and they have a cat named Archibald. They might end up together but I'm drawing it out. (They are like 3rd cousins - Stefan is Swiss and Gunilla is Romanian.) Currently they are exploring the town. Stefan is angsty, musical, likes writing and likes meeting new people. Gunilla is pretty, romantic, studious and dotes on the cat. Anyway, I'll see where it goes. - Putting a sim/family in a shell of a house, saving up some money, and decorating/building the house one room at a time, so that you have an amazing fancy kitchen with everything you'd want, but the rest of the house is still concrete and you're back to no money and saving up again. I don't remember how I got into that habit, but I do it a lot and I just love it.
- OldeSimsFan6 years agoSeasoned AceComing here, reading posts of interest, and contributing - whether in general or helping some poor soul with a problem. If you mean actually in the game, then taking sims into the jungle to explore, become archaeologists, and be in tight with the locals. Another route is by having what amounts to a small farm. A sim can make a decent living selling produce, flowers and the like. If you get dragon fruit (takes time and patience but they are there, also on the gallery), you are really in clover with those.
- Scobren6 years agoLegendI like doing my own rags to riches. Fun doing it kind of Minecraft inspired too with the crafting bench to furnish your home with.

- Nindigo796 years agoSeasoned AceMy favorite thing to do depends on my mood. But one is probably to play a rascal who messes with other Sims' lives. Another is to build something according to an idea I have had. I still haven't explored every Aspiration and career, or even skill, so doing that is also a favorite thing of mine when the mood strikes.
- Karababy526 years agoLegendChallenges and Building!
I've played and continue to play around 40 different challenges, some more than once or twice. I just can't get enough! My all-time favorite is Rags to Riches, every which way I can dream up for it. Extreme style is the most challenging and therefore the most fun! The majority of my saves I'll start the R2R way even in combination with other challenges if the rules will allow it.
There's just something so satisfying about your Sims starting out with absolutely nothing and working their way up without cheats to fabulous wealth. If they wish. Sometimes I'll purposely have them stay more towards a middle ground, or off-the-grid towards the Rags end, but still comfy.
My first and enduring love with every iteration of The Sims I've owned though has always been and always will be building/decorating. I can spend hours, days, weeks, sometimes months working on just one build and never get bored or sick of doing it. <3 - Well ,i am mainly a builder, LOVE building mostly modern stuff but building in general :) and creating a stop motion videos from my builds its a lot of fun! , but in the game itself, i enjoy the most play as a retail owner like a big rich one :P
