What is your gameplay style?

I have been playing legacy challenges and other random games for a while. I just started a rotational save and I'm loving it. I just might start doing it across all my saves soon.

Rotational. Makes the world more lively IMO, plus I gte bored too quickly with just one household.

I do a mix of everything I guess? I usually start exclusively with a rags to riches challenge, then I morph it into a sort of random legacy challenge - where traits are randomized and so is their aspiration but I don't randomly choose how many kids they're going to have or their marriage state. I just kind of let the story play out - like my current founder had two children in Akita Kibo despite him being married (at the time) to Mila, but he also had a kid with Nancy Landgraab lol. This is the furthest I have gotten in a Sims 4 legacy but I plan on using the spares for each generation and doing other challenges, like I might use Levi for a 7 toddler challenge or I might decide Laurie is the spare and use her for a 100 baby challenge or something, curious to see how it's going to go in all honesty.

How? I've only been playing for four months and I have 12 saves and multiple households in each save. I cna't imagine sticking with the same family.

I applaud your dedication! I have a hard time playing a legacy through the second generation, but I'm trying different ways to play to keep me interested. Out of curiosity how many generations are you at and what do you have your sim life span on?

I picked other because I get bored really fast if I play Sims 4 with just gameplay so I usually just build the majority of the time.

Storytelling, but realistically, I spend most of my time building.

I do whatever I feel like I guess. Sometimes that might be a challenge, other times it's just something random I've created in my head. Wish I could do storytelling though!!

I'm on gen 16. Not that far but I take my time with the generations. I normally play at normal lifespan but when the current heir/heiress is in the YA age I pause time for a little to enjoy the sim :) I don't wanna rush through to get far but to enjoy the legacy in every generation. I do new apsirations and careers and try to play them as different personalities too. It's fun.
