You could also have a Cait Sith or Cu Sith with the option to have it as a pet or a familiar if you also had Cats and Dogs and/or Realm of Magic. @CatLady21 A Rusalka would be cool, especially as traditionally they are the undead souls of drowned maidens. You could have lake areas that Sims could swim in, but if they died by drowning there's a chance they could come back as a Rusalka. Other Sims could go on quests in order to free their spirits from the water.
