Angels and Daemons aren't really tied to religion tho, At least I don't think so. I'm hesitant too about adding religion to my game, I feel like if I do I have to do it 100% right. I have built cathedrals on museum lots, so when it was time for marriage I have a place my sims can get married. Although the Mages club I created could behave like the Catholic Church... No Like I said I feel like if I do anything, even that Idea alone, it's going to be considered blasphemous. So, I look at other Games, Like Final Fantasy, where in their lore they have Daemons, Creatures that of the night that plague the world of Eos in Final Fantasy XV.
Technically, vampires are a type daemonic creature, at least that's what I choose to believe. I mean come on you you are a soulless, eternal creature of the night, feeding on the blood of the living, and meat trees that produce blood. Simply Devoid them of their humanity, and then you are off to a great start. I've created a wraith creature, that sucks the life force from sims. A vampire-mage that feeds on children. I'm essentially trying to craft an army off demonic creatures and spirits that my Spellcaster sim can use to take over the Kingdom.
If we can get Genies (Spellcaster/Fairy+Ghost?), Orcs, Minotaurs, and Satyrs in the mix, I can create some strange creatures for my Mage to command. I want to get Island living, for mermaids/sirens, but I don't really care for Sulani.
My thing is, whenever we try to create a Good vs Evil connotation, I like to try to balance the scales. Because sometimes "Dark magic" tends to out weigh "Light magic" so for every daemon, an angel must mirror that Daemon.
It's easy enough I would also like more regular animal life states, Like Pigs, Cows, and the like, my dark Mage can Daemonize them too and add them to his army of Darkness.
