What legacy challenge should I start?

I've been thinking about starting a new legacy save but I can't decide between my ideas so I'm putting it to a vote!
  • I admit I'm not a legacy player, but I'm wodering what's so great about Not So Berry? I checked some rules and it's a pre-determined story with theme colours. You don't even get to decide your sims's character or what they'll do in life. I see many people post about Not So Berry, but never past mint or rose gen. Does anyone finish this? I like the descriptions for each gen, but it doesn't feel very inspiring..?

I play Not So Berry and I LOVE these goal-oriented challenges. A lot of people like accomplishing goals while thinking up their own story. There's plenty of room left to put your own spin on things because the goals usually don't take up a sim's entire life. Besides that, it pushes people to explore gameplay elements they normally wouldn't or haven't gotten to yet.

I'm on generation 6: orange, by the way.

Thank you for sharing your view, it was interesting to read :) While I think the challenge may not be for me I can see the appeal of it.

The vegetable one sounds like could be fun and different. My second vote would be for Not So Berry. I love that challenge (I'm currently doing the expansion pack version).
  • You didn't off Other. So, I will add this link to the Original Sims Legacy Challenge updated for Sims 4 by Pinstar.

I love this challenge and it's the only one I have done beginning with Sims2, 3 and then 4. It's a great way to get to know the game and experience stuff (at least for me) I had never been able to experience before just in playing. Have fun!
  • There is no 'other' option but I really liked the I'm a Lover Challenge. I never made it too far into it but one of my favorite families came from that challenge. It's similar NSB with each generation having goals but also a really good starting story for each generation as well.

If you just want to explore parts of the game you've never explored, try one of the pack challenges. There are several different ones.
