I love this question! When I saw the title I thought I knew what my answer was going to be, but now that it's time to type I was hit with a wave of things I love about the game and that makes it stand out. I think @simgirl1010 said it best, there's something for everyone and for every sort of story you can imagine. I love the freedom we have to create LGBTQIA sims and tell their stories. I love that we're not bound to strictly real world scenarios and sims, we can make them fantastical, they can be anything. Vampires and witches and werewolves, oh my! The game doesn't put players in a box and only give them a narrow framework to play in. And if I get burned out on gameplay I can go play around in build mode or CAS. I've never had a moment in 14 years of simming where I've been bored for more than a day or two at most.
I'm a ride or die simmer.❤️ I haven't played any other games in years and I don't see that changing anytime soon, not anything that would take me away from The Sims for more than an hour or two here and there anyway.

@DaniRose2143I'm so happy you like my question! That's such a great prospective! That really is an awesome part of the game😎! I also never get bored for very long either because I love to play, build and makes Sims in CAS, too! Also, it's great when we get a new pack to spice the game up once we've played through all the packs that have been released until that point😎!

New packs are great! @coolsim9999999 🙂 They add new features and items to the game, and can also complement well with activities or build or cas items that we already have in the game. It is fun to discover all the features or items in the packs.

Like "Calgon" the Sims 4 takes me away, Literally. With 4 I can afford to travel without spending, well my simself can. Not to mention the adventures and getting to marry a rancher. Life long dream that one. 😉
The views from my windows even though we can't travel to them all they all add so much to my alter life ( I mean my game). And of course the horses of which I carried over my favorites, Baldy & Maxis from Sims 3
I do play a lot of other games but Sims 4 leads the pack for stayability for me. Sims the beginning and though I do still dabble in 2 & 3 its 4 that is my mainstay. I actually do have The Sims still but it doesn't play nice on Win11.
Great Question/Topic by the way.

It is great that we can enjoy doing things in the game that we can’t do in real life or visit places that we would not be able to visit @Bluegayle 🙂 For simmers who have health problems and need to remain at home, it is a lovely way of being outdoors.

It is great that there are a variety of ways to play the game and live out the lives of our sims @DaniRose2143 🙂
It is lovely that you have been playing for fourteen years. You would have lots of fun and enjoyable simming days over the years 🙂
There is always something new to discover in the game.
