I assume that sentiments are hidden traits? In that case one should be able to remove them with cheats. You need to know what the traits are called though.
They aren't hidden traits, they are relationship bits. You can remove them (or add them) with the modifyrelationship cheats, you just need to know the name of the bits.
The sentiments also show up in the log created by MCCC which you suggested I do and it turns out looking at the log there is still a "Bitter Grudge" showing on TJ. I somehow missed that the first time I looked. That could explain why he's being mean but she's not, she has no such negative bits in the list shown in the MCCC log like he does.
@Stormkeep
Yup, I too had a case of an "invisible stuck sentiment". I noticed this when my sim's daughter behaved weirdly aggressive and the father seemed to have a persistent option to "ask what 's problem is" but when I clicked that it did not reveal anything, the option stayed as if I hadn't clicked it and the peculiar behavior continued forever. Finally used MCCC to check out the logs and yup, grudging sentiment was listed on the daughter. I removed it via console commands. After enabling cheats I just typed: modifyrelationship jane doe john doe -100 sentimentTrack_Bitter_LT_grudge. (More info here for anyone interested: https://simscommunity.info/2020/12/10/the-sims-4-sentiment-cheats-base-game/)
And voilà: the option to ask about the other's problem disappeared and the aggressive behavior stopped.
